Who we are

Youth-led and Community-driven

Established in 2018, TruCam Ultimate Support was formally registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) on 31 October 2019 and with the Department of Social Development on 15 April 2021.

We implement projects that uplift the livelihoods of young people and bridge socio-economic gaps through sustainable development initiatives. Our mandate is anchored on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, promoting access to equitable, quality education and skills development across the Limpopo Province.

Pageants with a purpose

Our pageants celebrate beauty with grace, but they are really about leadership, confidence, resilience and community service. Our queens become ambassadors for Her Essence, the Joyful Hearts Drive and GBV awareness.

The people behind the mission

Led by young, passionate professionals

TruCam was founded by Dr Lebo Trudy Rashijane, a PhD graduate (Animal Genomics), named one of the Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans (2024) and a Sunday World Unsung Hero (2025).

Our team of postgraduate researchers, graduates and students brings expertise in science, finance, social policy, law, marketing and media, united by a shared purpose of transforming education and empowering communities.
